Red Sky Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor, delivering high-value and complex projects across a variety of sectors. We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team and contribute to the success of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

The Role: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be an integral part of the project team, supporting the delivery of projects from £200k to £10m+. Your primary focus will be driving efficiencies, managing costs, and providing commercial analysis while mitigating business risks. You will play a key role in managing both the financial and contractual aspects of the projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit levels.

Cost management, project forecasting, and cash flow reporting.

Subcontract procurement, negotiation, and financial accounting.

Preparation of project applications for payment and final account settlement.

Liaison with clients and third parties on commercial matters, including contractual changes and claims.

Working with the project team to forecast predicted expenditure and cash recovery.

Identifying and realizing commercial opportunities while mitigating risks.
