We're working with a leading contractor who is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a major town centre regeneration programme. This is a substantial, multiyear scheme offering long-term stability and the chance to step into a pivotal commercial role on a highprofile project.

The Opportunity

You'll be joining the project at an important phase, with construction running through to December 2026 and commercial close-out extending into early 2027. The successful candidate will benefit from a structured handover and ongoing support from the existing Senior QS, who will be transitioning into a wider oversight role across multiple projects.

This setup ensures you'll have access to detailed project knowledge, clear guidance, and a smooth onboarding process-while still giving you the autonomy expected of a senior-level commercial lead.

What You'll Be Doing

- Taking ownership of key commercial responsibilities across the project.
- Managing daytoday commercial delivery, including valuations, forecasting, reporting, and subcontract management.
- Supporting change control processes and ensuring accurate commercial substantiation.
- Working closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to maintain strong commercial governance.
