Our client is one of the UK's leading infrastructure contractors, working nationwide on iconic projects and frameworks.\n\nDue to continued successfully delivery of key Southeastern railway frameworks and standalone projects, our client is looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established commercial team of 8 staff.\n\nAs the successful candidate, you will be an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, able to work independently, with excellent cost control, forecasting and reporting experience.\n\nSenior Quantity Surveyor roles and responsibilities:\n\nYou will be responsible for the robust commercial management and reporting of 2-4 projects / packages of a variety of projects. Key deliverables will include:\n\nOwnership and responsibility for contract administration for your own projects through to Final Accounts.\nEnsuring accurate and timely cost reporting and forecasting for the client every 4 weeks and internal reporting.\nResponsible for the management of Subcontractor accounts, applications and payments.\nThe production of CVR's, cost plans and monitoring cost performance of projects.Senior Quantity Surveyor requirements:\n\nDegree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or construction related qualification with relevant experience.\n8+ years Quantity Survey experience within the infrastructure sector, working on Framework contracts or Major Projects, with Network Rail Framework or Major Project experience an advantageous.\nExcellent cost reporting and forecasting skills are essential.\nAbility to manage 2-4 projects concurrently.\nNEC Contracts experience is essential.\nGood level IT proficiency and a thorough knowledge of cost management software and tools.Senior Quantity Surveyor Benefits:\n\nHybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days WfH\nWork for a leading Main Contractor within the UK infrastructure market.\nExcellent support and opportunity to progress your career will be provided.\nA competitive rewards package, including a Company Car scheme, Private Healthcare, Pension, and Life Assurance cover.\nImmediate role. \n\nIf you are interested in this Senior Quantity Surveyor role, apply now
