ASAP The Role: We are seeking an experienced
Quantity Surveyor
or
Senior Quantity Surveyor
to support a major
HS2 groundworks package . This is a long-term freelance opportunity working on one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects, focused on heavy Civils, Groundworks, Drainage and Earthworks. You will play a key commercial role, managing costs, contracts, and commercial risk across complex groundworks packages while working closely with project and site teams. Key Responsibilities: Commercial management of groundworks and heavy civils packages Preparation and management of cost forecasts, budgets, and CVRs Pricing & Take offs from drawings Valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts Supporting commercial reporting to senior management Requirements: Proven experience as a
Quantity Surveyor
or
Senior Quantity Surveyor
on large-scale civils or infrastructure projects Strong background in
groundworks, earthworks, drainage, or heavy civils NEC
or
JCT
contract experience essential Strong humanship with the right principles & ethics Ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment What's on Offer £450-£550 per day
