A specialist cost consultancy is recruiting a Contract Senior Quantity Surveyor to support major AMP8 civil engineering, water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the UK.
This Contract Senior QS / Senior Quantity Surveyor role sits firmly in the civils sector, delivering full commercial and cost management services on long-term AMP8 frameworks. The position is ideal for experienced contract Quantity Surveyors seeking an Outside IR35 role within civils and water infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors on AMP8 civils projects
Full cost management from feasibility through to final account
Cost planning, forecasting, reporting and cash flow management
Advising on procurement strategy, tendering and contract documentation (BoQs)
Risk and value management and cost control
Client-facing cost reporting to senior stakeholders
Commercial support on subcontractors, variations and contractual claims
Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience as a Contract Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior QS
Strong xbpsjku background in civils, water or utilities infrastructure
Experience working on AMP frameworks (AMP6, AMP7 or AMP8)
Consultancy or client-side experience
Excellent knowledge of construction contracts
