About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction contractor for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team across South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. This is a permanent opportunity offering a strong pipeline of projects across healthcare, leisure, retail, refurbishment, and social housing sectors.
This role is ideal for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a senior position with full project lifecycle responsibility.
Senior Quantity Surveyor - Responsibilities
Commercial management of construction projects from tender to final account Cost planning, procurement, and subcontractor management Preparation of valuations, variations, and final accounts Financial reporting, forecasting, and cost control Managing subcontractor accounts and payments Supporting project delivery teams with commercial and contractual advice Attending site meetings and liaising with clients and stakeholders Producing cash flow forecasts and monitoring project performance
Senior Quantity Surveyor - Requirements
Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor Background in construction, refurbishment, or main contracting Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts Experience managing project finances end-to-end Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities Relevant degree or equivalent qualification preferred
