I’m urgently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a Leeds-based developer specialising in high-quality residential apartment schemes.

This is a freelance role for an 8 week period, working on a premium residential development in York. The client requires someone who can start immediately and quickly integrate into the site team.

You will be site-based, reporting into the Commercial Manager, and supporting the commercial delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing subcontractor packages from procurement through to final account

* Preparing and assessing valuations and variations

* Supporting cost reporting, forecasting, and budget control

* Assisting with monthly commercial reporting

* Working closely with site and project teams to ensure commercial performance

* Maintaining cost control across residential packages

Requirements:

* Strong Senior Quantity Surveyor experience within residential developments (ideally)

* Proven background as a Senior QS

* Confident managing subcontractor packages independently

* Strong commercial and contractual awareness

* Able to work on-site full time and start immediately

* Available for the full 8-week duration
