This Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for all commercial functions on a £25million scheme, based in Southampton.\n\nWith a very commercially aware Project Director and support from the Managing and Programme Director, you'll have all the support you could need in facilitating this role, while working in a very decentralised function where you make the commercial decisions on how the job should be run.\n\nDuties and responsibilities include:\n\nResponsible for the financial and contractual management of this £25million project\nLeading cost planning and financial forecasting\nCommercially managing the above project, while negotiating terms and handling dispute resolutions if they arise\nMonitoring project expenditures, preparing monthly cost-value reconciliations (CVRs), and managing cash flows\nOverseeing the tendering process and subcontractor selection to ensure cost efficiency\nIdentifying and mitigating financial risks that could impact project marginsThe selection will be very much based on the person and culture, so if you're from a civils or infrastructure background, or further more, working for a well established sub-contractor that wants to spread their wings into Principle Contracting, look no further.\n\nFor the right candidate, my client will look to pay up to £80k plus package.\n\nIf you're interested please don't hesitate to reply, or, if you'd like a P&C chat about this role, please email on (url removed), or call on (phone number removed)
