The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of a major leisure development in Yeovil. You will lead the project commercially from pre-construction through to completion, reporting into senior management.

This role suits a confident commercial lead with strong main contractor experience and the ability to manage both people and process.

Key Responsibilities

Full commercial management of the project

Preparing and managing cost plans and budgets

*

Leading subcontract procurement and negotiations

*

Managing valuations, variations, and change control

*

Producing accurate monthly cost/value reports

*

Managing and mentoring junior commercial staff

*

Final accounts and client liaison

Requirements

*

Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

*

Extensive main contractor experience

*

Proven track record delivering projects from start to finish

*

Strong commercial and contractual knowledge

*

Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills

*

Ability to work on site in Yeovil
