Job Title: Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager Location: Astley Lane Industrial Estate, Swillington, Leeds Sector: Water Infrastructure Project: Storm Overflow Alliance Job Type: Temporary Contract Start Date: 01/05/2026 End Date: 01/05/2027 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30 (5 days per week) Rate: £450 per day (Outside IR35)

The Role: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to support delivery on the Storm Overflow Alliance project within the water infrastructure sector.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term, high-profile programme focused on improving water network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial management of project costs and budgets Preparation and management of valuations, variations, and final accounts Cost forecasting and reporting to senior stakeholders Contract administration and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations Liaising with project managers, engineers, and client representatives Identifying commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycleRequirements: Essential:

Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline Proven experience in a QS / Cost Manager role within infrastructure or utilities projects Strong understanding of contract forms and commercial processes Desirable:

Experience working within water or utilities sectors Familiarity with large-scale infrastructure frameworks Additional Information:
