This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering essential refurbishment & maintenance works that improve lives and communities.\n\nClient Details\n\nOur client is a Tier 1 Contractor with a heavy presence in the Social Housing sector, they are committed to delivering high quality maintenance solutions for housing providers and local authorities with the goal of improving communities. \n\nAn opportunity has opened up for a Senior QS to join our clients growing team, working on Social Housing contracts across Greater Manchester.\n\nDescription\n\nLead commercial management of social housing contracts from tender through to final account\nEnsure projects are delivered within budget, with risk effectively managed and opportunities maximised\nCollaborate with operational teams, subcontractors, and clients to maintain relationships\nPrepare and manage monthly valuations, cost reports & forecasting\nSupport and mentor junior members of the commercial teamProfile\n\nProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally at a senior level\nStrong background in Social Housing - refurbishment or maintenance contracts\nExcellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills\nAbility to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment\nDegree-qualified in Quantity SurveyingJob Offer\n\nCirca £70,000 annual salary\n£5,000 car allowance\nMinimum of 5% annual bonus\n25 days annual leave + BH & option to buy\nCompetitive pension scheme\nFlexible agile working
