This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-value, technically complex engineering projects across the nuclear and regulated infrastructure sectors. You'll play a key role in supporting long-standing, high-profile clients while enjoying excellent career progression, hybrid working, and structured support toward chartership.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead the commercial management of major infrastructure and engineering projects within the nuclear sector
  • Deliver full lifecycle quantity surveying services, from early-stage cost planning and procurement through to contract administration and final accounts
  • Manage subcontractor packages, assess valuations and variations, and process payments
  • Provide expert guidance on NEC3 and NEC4 contracts, ensuring commercial compliance and strategy alignment
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to maintain cost control and maximise value
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and risk assessments
  • Mentor junior surveyors and contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture
  • Represent the business in client-facing meetings and project reviews

What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related commercial discipline
  • Ideally chartered (MRICS, MCIOB) or actively working toward professional accreditation
  • Strong experience in infrastructure, engineering, or regulated project environments – ideally within nuclear, energy, or utilities
  • Proven track record managing NEC contracts (NEC3 / NEC4 essential)
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and commercial reporting skills
  • A proactive, organised, and commercially focused mindset

What’s in It for You:

  • Competitive salary with annual reviews
  • Car allowance
  • Private medical insurance + life assurance
  • Enhanced employer pension contribution
  • Hybrid working (typically 2 days from home per week)
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Structured APC support with access to trained mentors and chartered professionals
  • Clear career progression within a growing, well-respected team
  • Collaborative, inclusive working environment with real opportunities to shape your future

If you're looking to take the next step in your career and work on nationally significant infrastructure projects, this role offers both challenge and reward in equal measure.
