Senior Quantity Surveyor - London (Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days remote)
Join a leading engineering organisation delivering high-profile infrastructure projects across London and the UK. Work on rail, power, roads, and urban development programmes , providing mechanical and electrical subcontract services for large-scale, multi-million-pound projects .
The Role As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll lead commercial management across complex infrastructure projects , ensuring budgets are controlled, contracts are managed, and risks mitigated. You'll collaborate with project teams, clients, and subcontractors, applying your expertise in NEC contracts to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Projects You'll Work On Get hands-on with HS2 and major Network Rail framework agreements, delivering mechanical and electrical services into large-scale, high-profile infrastructure projects . These projects offer variety, scale, and real impact on London's transport, power, and urban networks.
Key Responsibilities
Lead commercial management across large-scale mechanical and electrical projects
Manage budgets, contracts, and commercial risks, providing proactive solutions
Oversee NEC contract administration and subcontractor agreements
Collaborate across design, procurement, and delivery teams
Mentor junior QS staff and support the development of the commercial team

What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on mechanical/electrical infrastructure projects
Strong NEC contract knowledge and commercial acumen
Confident, hands-on, and commercially focused
Ability to manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously
