Your new role
Our client is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Cost Consultancy team in Warrington. This is an exciting opportunity to take a senior position overseeing multiple projects, providing commercial and financial leadership, and working closely with clients on a range of high-profile developments. Flexible working arrangements and exposure to landmark projects make this a role with real progression potential.
Responsibilities will include:
Manage quantity surveying activities across 3-4 projects simultaneously.
Provide expert commercial and financial advice throughout the project lifecycle.
Offer procurement and contract advice, preparing documentation as required.
Maximise value recovery, control project costs, and manage cash flow effectively.
Commercially manage control packages on projects.
Protect the company's contractual position and ensure compliance.
Prepare and agree project accounts, including final accounts.
Produce financial reports as required for management and clients.
Assist with the development and mentoring of junior staff.
Manage and maintain key client relationships.
Understand client requirements and provide professional advice.
Work closely with the senior team to support project and business objectives.
What you will need to succeed:
Minimum 5 years' experience in quantity surveying within construction.
Strong numeracy, analytical, and report-writing skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Ability to manage multiple projects and build strong client relationships.
