Job Description
Senior Quantity Surveyor – Construction Consultancy\n£65,000 - £85,000 + Package\nLocation: Warrington / Manchester\nHours: 40 Hours per Week\nEmployment: Full-Time\n\nA growing construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team supporting projects across the North West region including Manchester and Warrington.\n\nThis role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects while delivering full commercial management services from pre-contract estimating through to post-contract cost control and final accounts.\n\nYou will work closely with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and commercially successfully.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n• Deliver full quantity surveying and commercial management services\n• Prepare cost plans, estimates, and Bills of Quantities\n• Provide procurement advice and contract strategy support\n• Manage subcontractor procurement and tender evaluations\n• Produce cost reports, cashflow forecasts, and CVR reporting\n• Manage valuations, variations, and commercial negotiations\n• Prepare final accounts and claims documentation\n• Attend client meetings and project reviews\n• Support dispute resolution and contractual matters\n• Represent the consultancy in client-facing environments\n\nRequirements\n\n• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management\n• Experience within construction consultancy or contractor environments\n• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement strategies\n• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills\n• Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships\n• RICS membership
