About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a prestigious civil engineering firm based in Glasgow. Key Responsibilities
Manage all contractual and financial aspects of construction projects.
Ensure projects are delivered on budget and to the highest quality standards.
Undertake risk management, value engineering, and cost control.
Prepare and assess costings for tenders.
Provide advice on contractual claims and dispute resolution.
Analyse project outcomes and produce detailed progress reports.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current building contracts and industry regulations.
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering projects.
Thorough understanding of construction methods and materials.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Solid knowledge of contract law and industry regulations.
Proficiency in relevant quantity surveying software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
