Project / Senior Quantity Surveyor – High-End Residential Refurbishment

Location: South West London

Project Value: Circa £100m

Salary: £75,000 – £100,000 + Package

Contract Rate: £400 – £500 per day

Employment Type: Permanent or Contract

Start: ASAP

The Opportunity

A top-tier contractor-developer is seeking an experienced Project / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a landmark £100m high-end residential refurbishment scheme in South West London.

This is a complex, high-value, high-risk refurbishment project requiring a commercially astute QS who is confident managing major packages and driving performance across the full project lifecycle.

Due to the urgency of the role, our client is open to individuals seeking either a permanent position (£75k–£100k + package) or those wishing to operate on a contract basis (£400–£500 per day).

Key Responsibilities

Taking commercial responsibility for high-value, high-risk packages Managing cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting Leading procurement and subcontractor management through to final account Identifying and mitigating commercial risks Working closely with senior management and operational teams Supporting governance and reporting across the full project lifecycle

Requirements

Proven experience as a Project or Senior QS on high-end residential or major refurbishment schemes Strong background managing complex, high-value packages Full project lifecycle experience from pre-construction through to final account Heavy refurbishment experience is essential Main contractor or contractor-developer background Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
