Key Responsibilities:

Taking ownership of the procurement phase of the £130 million A46 Walsgrave scheme Ensuring subcontractor packages are competitively sourced and contracts are robustly negotiated Managing commercial risks effectively Leading the delivery phase of the works, shaping the commercial success of the project Collaborating with a commercial team and reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor Mentoring early careers colleagues and assisting in their professional growth Managing the financial and contractual performance of the project Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members

Job Requirements:

Proven experience in Quantity Surveying at either SQS or QS level Background in civils or highways, ideally for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 subcontractor Strong procurement expertise Experience with NEC contracts A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar (or equivalent experience) Professional membership (RICS or CICES) - desirable Commercial astuteness and proactive in managing large-scale infrastructure projects Collaborative mindset with a commitment to quality, integrity, and continuous improvement
