They focus on winning complex and interesting projects often involving new build extensions, cut & carves, complex groundworks and the introduction of basements to existing properties.The Senior Quantity Surveyor Role:Focusing on projects in the High End Residential & Hotel sector they are looking for a Senior Level Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team to deliver complex refurbishment and interior fit-out projects, to an exclusive clientele, throughout Central London. You will join a senior management team made of individuals who have come together with extensive experience in the High End Interiors market place.Roles & Responsibilities Include:Review cost plan information, agree target margins, advise on risks and develop project budgets.Analyse sub-contractor quotations and place orders.Agree monthly valuations with the PQS, raise invoices and secure payment.Produce monthly status reports and attend meetingsAdminister final accounts with clients and sub-contractorsThe Project Quantity Surveyor:In-depth knowledge of the construction process including both new build and fit-out / refurbishmentExperience in the majority of the above roles & responsibilitiesDegree qualified BTEC or Higher National equivalent10 years full time experience in a surveying role with a leading reputable main / principle contractorGood Understanding of JCT forms of contract & Contract law Good knowledge and understanding of Word and Excel packages Good verbal and written communication skillsJBRP1_UKTJ
