This is a newly created Senior Quantity Surveyor role, not a replacement giving you the chance to shape commercial processes, influence project planning, and play a key role in a growing Construction function. The Role Senior Quantity Surveyor As a Senior Quantity Surveyor , youll take ownership of the commercial and financial management of projects from early planning through to completion. Youll work closely with engineering, project delivery and senior leadership teams to ensure strong cost control, contract management and margin protection across complex projects. 70% office-based 30% international travel across EMEA Key Responsibilities Commercial Management Prepare cost estimates, budgets and financial forecasts Monitor project costs and commercial performance Identify risks and protect margins Contract & Change Management Manage contracts, variations, claims and change orders Ensure all changes are commercially justified and controlled Tendering & Procurement Support tender preparation and contractor selection Evaluate subcontractor and supplier submissions Project Planning Support Provide commercial input at early project stages Work with engineering teams to ensure cost-effective delivery Site & Stakeholder Engagement Travel to project sites across EMEA Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders About You Senior Quantity Surveyor Were looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who is comfortable operating within complex engineering, construction or infrastructure environments. xehkeey You will have: Minimum 10 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor Strong background in construction cost management and contract administration Experience managing budgets on large-scale commercial, residential, civil engineering, industrial or infrastructure projects Strong knowledge of construction processes, cost estimating and contract management Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Strong IT skills Excel, Microsoft Office, Teams, Project Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel internationally Desirable: Experience with Sage 200 or similar ERP systems Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or similar Why this Senior Quantity Surveyor role stands out Newly created role with real influence on how projects are run Work on major engineering projects across EMEA Strong, stable pipeline of work Excellent benefits including 12% pension + bonus Genuine long-term career progression Apply now If youre a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for a role with global projects, commercial influence and long-term stability , apply today.
