This is a high-profile Senior Quantity Surveyor / commercial leadership position with real visibility across the business and full ownership of a key portfolio across refurbishment and retrofit contracts.
A leading UK property services contractor is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take commercial control of a high-value social housing portfolio across Cheshire and the surrounding region.
Youll be a visible senior presence across multiple live contracts, working closely with operational leaders, clients and your own commercial team to drive performance, protect margin and maintain high standards across the region.

Opportunity to lead and shape a commercial function

What youll be doing
Leading the commercial delivery of multiple planned works and refurbishment contracts
Managing CVRs, WIP, valuations, forecasting, cost control and risk
Overseeing subcontract procurement, payments and tender reviews
Mentoring and developing junior commercial staff
Working closely with operational teams and client representatives
Driving strong commercial governance and KPI performance across the region
What theyre looking for
Degree qualified inQuantity Surveying or Commercial Management
Strong experience as aQuantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
Background insocial housing, planned maintenance, refurbishment or retrofit
Able to managemultiple contracts or high-volume workstreams
Strong leadership, commercial and stakeholder management skills
Someone who wants a role withownership, visibility and progression
