White Collar Construction is currently recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing pre and post-contract commercial duties for civil engineering projects, roads and sewers, s278 works, foundations up to DPC. The role would be office-based with a need to visit sites regularly. Typically, our projects range from £1m to £10m around the West Midlands region. This is a site based role with a few days per week in the office as required. What Youll Do Reporting to the Commercial Director you will be responsible for managing the post-contract commercial activities. Maintain high health and safety standards and ensuring full compliance with the company's health and safety policies and strategies. Ensuring effective communication between site and office personnel in all matters relating to the commercial, contract, and programme delivery of projects. Development and settlement of tenders including taking off quantities, material and subcontract enquiries, and pricing of works.
