Role Description

To work as part of a team to provide Radiography and supplementary NDE support to the business, specifically on high integrity pipework and structure welding on submarines

- Strong understanding of the end to end process of Radiography principles and applying these to support submarine build.

- Conversant with the Ionising Radiation Regulations 2017 and radiological safety in industrial environments.

Core Activities

- Positive engagement with stakeholders on radiography activities
- Provide support and guidance on the build process throughout a multi-disciplined environment
- Offers advice on radiography best practice activities across submarines
- Highly proficient in the use of radiographic inspection equipment
- Interpreting and applying Gamma and X-ray techniques for compound and site Radiography
