Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Manchester Salary: £60,000-£70,000 per annum, plus company car or allowance
About the Role
You will serve as a Senior Quantity Surveyor working on high-stakes critical infrastructure projects within the UK's data centre sector. Your role will involve managing both mechanical and electrical (M&E) packages, ensuring cost-effective delivery, contractual compliance, and commercial excellence throughout project lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the full commercial lifecycle of M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) scopes within data centre projects, including CSA/MEP packages
Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial reporting through all project stages
Administer contracts using forms such as NEC and JCT , manage variations, claims, and change orders; support dispute resolution and claims management where necessary
Lead procurement activities by negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure best value and cost control
Conduct risk assessments and implement cost-saving strategies to optimize commercial outcomes
