**Senior Quantity Surveyor - Healthcare Project (NEC)
Bournemouth / Southampton**
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a major healthcare project in Bournemouth . The project has approximately 8 months remaining , making this an excellent opportunity for a freelance QS with the right background. We are also open to offering a permanent position , based from our Southampton area office , for candidates seeking long-term progression.
Key Requirements
15+ years post-graduate experience in Quantity Surveying
Strong background in healthcare construction projects
Proven experience working under NEC contracts
Ideally experienced in MEP packages , though strong generalist QS experience will also be considered
Ability to manage commercial responsibilities independently on a live project nearing completion
Core Responsibilities
The successful candidate will take ownership of the commercial function on the project, including: Valuations - preparation, submission, and agreement of monthly valuations
