Senior Python Developer Team Lead
Location: Remote (UK-based) Salary: £55,000 £62,000 per annum
Were recruiting on behalf of our client who are in EdTech supporting schools across the UK. The business develops cloud-based solutions that help schools use technology and data to improve outcomes.
They are looking for a Senior Python Developer with Team Lead experience to join their engineering team. Youll lead development, set technical standards and support the delivery of scalable, cloud-native products.
Main Duties of the Role
Lead the design and development of scalable Python applications
Provide technical leadership within an Agile environment
Design and maintain AWS-based systems using Infrastructure-as-Code
Set best practices across development, testing and deployment
Mentor developers and contribute to technical innovation
Your Skills and Experience
6+ years Python development experience, including leadership at senior level
Strong AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code experience
Experience with APIs, microservices, CI/CD and containerisation
Agile delivery and team leadership experience
EdTech or eLearning exposure desirable
