Senior Property Services Officer(s) 37 Hours p/w Salary Scale:£38,050-£44,392pa Job Reference:SPSO Choice is seeking to recruit two Senior Property Services Officers to act as lead technical advisers on property matters to a defined area housing management team, managing complex repairs and maintenance issues, overseeing compliance, and supporting the Area Manager in the delivery of the day-to-day repairs and planned maintenance service. Essential criteria Degree level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a construction/building management related discipline and 2 years experience in a technical background in the building/property management sector OR HND level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a construction/building management related discipline and 5 years experience in a technical background in the building/property management sector OR 7 years experience in a technical background in the building/property management sector AND (applicable to all) Diagnosing complex property defects and producing costed work schedules and specifications Writing reports on technical matters for non-technical staff Current building regulations and compliance practices including relevant health and safety requirements Preparing budgets and ability to monitor expenditure Using core Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
