Senior Project Planner (x2)

London (Hybrid Working)

£60,000 – £80,000 + Car Allowance + Travel


We’re supporting a well-established consultancy delivering planning expertise across major UK infrastructure and construction programmes. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint two experienced Senior Project Planners to support a strong pipeline of work across London and the wider region.


The Role

As a Senior Project Planner, you’ll play a key role in supporting live projects and wider commissions, working closely with delivery teams to ensure programmes are realistic, robust, and aligned with project objectives.


This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can confidently step into a project environment and add value from day one.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project programmes
  • Provide planning support across multiple projects/commissions
  • Work closely with project teams to monitor progress and performance
  • Identify risks, delays, and opportunities within project schedules
  • Support reporting and provide clear programme insights to stakeholders
  • Contribute to NEC programme requirements and contract compliance


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Planner/Senior Planner within construction or infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of NEC contracts
  • Background working for or alongside contractors
  • Confident working independently able to integrate into projects without heavy supervision
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement
  • Proficiency with planning tools (e.g. Primavera P6 or similar)
