Senior Project Manager – Major Seafront Regeneration Scheme Location: Brighton Salary: Up to £85,000 + Car Allowance + Package Sector: Building / Regeneration / Public Realm Join a Fast-Growing UK Contractor on a Landmark Coastal Project An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a high-profile seafront regeneration scheme in Brighton. This contractor is one of the UK’s fastest-growing regional businesses, known for its supportive culture, ambitious growth plans and commitment to developing its people. The Project A multi-year, multi-phase regeneration programme on Brighton’s iconic seafront, involving:
Demolition of existing structures New in-situ reinforced concrete frame construction Restoration and reinstatement of historic and listed features Public realm and highway improvements
Utility and service diversions Architectural, mechanical and electrical elements for internal and external fit-out Key Responsibilities As Senior Project Manager, you will lead the project from early preconstruction through delivery to completion, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:
Full leadership and management of the project team Client and stakeholder communication Oversight of design development and coordination Establishing construction methodology, sequencing and programme Ensuring smooth, safe and efficient site operations Financial, contractual and commercial management Quality assurance, compliance and risk management Collaborative working with consultants, supply chain and internal teams
What We’re Looking For Essential experience
Senior Project Manager within a reputable building contractor Delivery of complex £20m+ building projects Strong understanding of RC frame, regeneration, refurbishment or multi-disciplinary building schemes Excellent leadership and client-facing skills Strong technical, contractual and commercial knowledge Proven ability to drive programme, manage teams, and lead projects end-to-end
Advantageous
Experience with public sector schemes Knowledge of NEC contracts
