We are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver complex construction and refurbishment schemes within live prison environments. This role requires a confident leader with a deep understanding of working in custodial settings, capable of managing projects £20m+ from pre-construction through to completion while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational integrity.You will play a critical role in ensuring works are delivered without disruption to prison operations, navigating strict security protocols, access limitations, and the unique behavioural and logistical challenges associated with live environments.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-end project leadership from pre-construction through to handoverDelivery of construction and refurbishment works within live prison environments, ensuring zero disruption to ongoing operationsFull responsibility for programme management, risk mitigation, and successful project outcomesCommercial leadership across projects valued at £20m+Acting as the main point of contact for the client and key stakeholdersManaging strict security protocols, access constraints, and compliance within a highly controlled environmentLeading project teams by example, driving high standards across safety, quality, and deliveryEnsuring all works are carried out in line with regulatory, security, and operational requirementsRequirementsProven experience delivering projects within live prison or similarly secure, operational environmentsDemonstrable track record managing £20m+ schemes within a Tier 1 contractorStrong understanding of custodial environments, including security procedures, stakeholder engagement, and risk managementExperience across the full project lifecycle, including pre-construction and delivery phasesExcellent leadership skills with the ability to lead from the front and set clear standardsStrong commercial, programme management, and client-facing capabilitiesIf this sounds of interest, apply with an up-to-date copy of your CV or message Cameron Moore directly for a confidential conversation.JBRP1_UKTJ
