As a Senior Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the region. Bring your collaborative, motivated, detail-oriented approach to our wide variety of complex projects across the region. Your technical competence, lateral thinking, first-class communication skills, and robust commercial awareness will be crucial in delivering better for our clients and communities, and will enable you to thrive in our vibrant, supportive team.
Your Purpose
- Project Planning and Scheduling- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and schedules to ensure timely completion of construction projects.Oversee project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Communication- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to align project goals and expectations.
- Risk Management- Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans to minimize impact.
- Quality Assurance- Ensure all construction activities meet industry standards and project specifications through the implementation of a robust quality assurance strategy.
- Team Leadership- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Compliance and Safety- Ensure all project activities comply with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards, as required by our appointment.
- Contract Administration- Administer standard forms of construction contracts, such as JCT and NEC4, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and effective dispute resolution.
- Project Management Expertise- Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary professional teams for construction projects, from inception to completion.
- Educational Background- A degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- Contract Administration: Proficiency in administering standard forms of construction contracts, such as JCT and NEC4. Experience with Contract Management Software, such as Sypro or CEMAR, is advantageous.
- Leadership Skills- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in leading diverse project teams.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Risk and Quality Management- Demonstrated ability in risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and quality assurance processes.
- Scheduling Proficiency- Expertise in project scheduling, including the use of programming software such as MS Project.
- Chartered Status- Chartered Member or working towards becoming a Chartered Member of either the CIOB, RICS, APM, or similar.

Security Clearance
This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview.
