As a Senior Project Manager, you'll take ownership of delivering high-value, complex projects within our Capital Portfolio team. This is a pivotal role where your leadership and expertise will drive outcomes that matter - for national security, for our customers, and for your career. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, lead integrated Project teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. Day-to-day, you'll be accountable for the delivery, control and reporting of a number of complex projects within a wider programme. Responsibilities
Leading and performance managing integrated project delivery teams Planning, monitoring and reporting on complex projects Managing customer and stakeholder relationships Establishing governance arrangements and clear accountabilities Driving continuous improvement and resolving issues proactively
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office/onsite and 2 days working from home. Qualifications
Proven experience in Project Management, ideally in facilities or plant environments Full project lifecycle experience Exposure to projects across varied products, services, and phases Awareness of contracting methodologies Understanding of cross-functional lifecycle requirements, Chartered or working towards Chartership in Engineering, Project Management, or a technical discipline Minimum NVQ Level 4 in engineering, technical, or business discipline (e.g., BTEC HNC) APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent Desirable: APM Risk Management Level 2 or equivalent
Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
