Senior Project Manager - Water

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our busy and expanding Infrastructure business supporting water projects and programmes across the North West. Owing to the complex nature of the works involved, this role is best suited to Senior Project Managers from a civil engineering background, ideally with previous water‑sector experience. NEC accreditation is also preferred. Responsibilities
Lead Project Management commissions, taking responsibility for end‑to‑end service delivery. Provide support on major Project Management commissions, taking responsibility for a defined aspect of service delivery. Ensure that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time, cost, and quality targets.
Key Performance Indicators
Projects are managed to the right quality standards and completed efficiently, on time and to budget. Project delivery meets the client’s objectives in line with the conditions of appointment. The project team is led effectively. Strong relationships are developed with clients and cross‑functional team members. General line‑management responsibilities (where appropriate) are effectively discharged. Business development opportunities with existing and new clients, including cross‑selling, are identified and acted upon. The internal financial status of all projects is effectively monitored. Key information and data are effectively cascaded and appropriately retained.
Qualifications
NEC (3/4) accreditation (preferred). Preferred if chartered/qualified with ICE, APM, RICS, etc. Ideally a degree in a construction‑related subject.
