Balfour Beatty has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Manager OHL to join their rapidly expanding Power Transmission and Distribution team working on projects across the UK. The successful individual will have experience working on overhead line projects. With the Power business in a key stage of growth, there is plenty of scope for development in this role, making it suitable for someone with ambition and drive to grow with the business.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  1. Project delivery experience ensuring high quality and safety standards
  2. Experience in Power/Utilities within large infrastructure projects
  3. Strong communication skills to manage, mentor, and empower your team
  4. Confidence and credibility to liaise with business leaders
  5. Commercial acumen to control costs and keep projects within budget
  6. Understanding of standard forms of contracts and performance evaluation techniques
  7. Experience managing overhead line, cabling, or substation schemes up to 400kV (preferable)
  8. Strong people management skills
  9. Proven track record in tendering and managing complex projects, including sub-contractors
  10. Knowledge of budgetary and financial control
