Job Description
Are you a Senior Project Manager with experience working on depots and control centre projects? \n \nDo you want to be a part of the largest European rail infrastructure project? \n \nLocation: Birmingham ( minimum 3 days/week in office) \nProject: Washwood Heath Depot & Network Integrated Control Centre (NICC) \nSalary: £67,000- £92,000 \n \nMy client are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead their team on the Washwood Heath Depot and Control Centre.
As the Senior Project Manager, you will lead the design and build of the control centre and manage its complex rail systems interfaces. \n \nKey Responsibilities: \n- Lead the design and build of the Network Integrated Control Centre (NICC). \n- Oversee and manage all rail systems interfaces for the depot and control centre.
\n- Manage the delivery of depot-specific rail systems (e.g., depot control system, OCS, telecoms) and supervise the integration of mainline systems. \n- Lead, coordinate, and motivate multidisciplinary, integrated project teams. \n- Act as the primary point of contact for a complex network of stakeholders, including rail systems partners, local authorities, and internal subject matter experts (SMEs).
\n- Drive the project through its full lifecycle, from design and construction to testing, commissioning, and handover. \n \nKey Experience Required: \n- Essential: Demonstrable experience with depot and control centre projects. \n- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary, integrated teams on large scale infrastructure projects.
\n- Strong knowledge of rail systems, including signalling (ATO beneficial) and telecoms. \n- Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships. \n- Experience on similar UK projects (e.g., Alder Common, Three Bridges, Romford Rock) is highly desirable.
