Type: Permanent | Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday-Friday (Half Day Friday)

\nThe Role\n
An established engineering manufacturer is seeking a Production Engineer to support its manufacturing operations.
\n
Working closely with engineering and production teams, you will help ensure the smooth transition of new products into production, support manufacturing processes, and drive continuous improvement across the site.
\nKey Responsibilities\n

Support the handover of new products from engineering into manufacturing.
\n
\n
\n
Design and develop tooling, jigs, and fixtures to support production.
\n
\n
\n
Produce and maintain manufacturing documentation and work instructions .
\n
\n
\n
Provide engineering support for production equipment and machinery .
\n
\n
\n
Assist with installation and sourcing of manufacturing equipment .
\n
\n
\n
Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives .
\n
\n
\n
Investigate and resolve manufacturing or quality issues .
\n
\n
\nAbout You\n
\n
\n
Degree qualified in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
\n
\n
\n
Experience in a production or manufacturing engineering environment with hands-on involvement in product assembly .
\n
\n
\n
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling .
\n
\n
\n
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills .
\n
\n
\n
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams .
\n
\n
