Overview About Phorest: Phorest Salon Software powers over 11,000 hair and beauty salons across multiple markets and processes millions of appointments and communications monthly. Our system includes in-salon software, Phorest Go, online bookings, and white-label native apps. This role is part of a new Communications team focused on the performance and expansion of our customer communications channels. What You’ll Do
Ownership & Accountability – Take full ownership of initiatives from discovery through delivery and post-launch impact tracking. Define product direction, roadmaps, and key bets. Ensure outcomes such as ROI, ARR, adoption, and customer outcomes are achieved. Proactively communicate risks and performance. Align dependencies with other teams. Cross-Team Leadership – Drive initiatives spanning multiple squads, functions, or geographies. Maintain consistency and coordination across teams and partners with design, engineering and product operations. Resolve blockers and ensure readiness and alignment across regions. Customer & Commercial Impact – Balance customer insight with commercial impact. Validate assumptions in-market with regional partners and prioritize initiatives delivering measurable value for customers and business. Product Craft & Communication – Communicate clearly with precise documents, pitches, and status updates. Create strong business cases detailing why, what, and impact. Provide clarity to squads with well-written stories and prioritised backlogs. Manage stakeholder expectations and collaborate constructively with design and engineering. Mentorship & Collaboration – Mentor junior PMs, build trusted partnerships with regions and marketing, and lead with empathy while maintaining high performance standards. Habits & Discipline – Maintain up-to-date roadmaps and backlogs, track metrics, use data to inform decisions, close the loop post-launch, and uphold operational excellence across squads.
Who You Are
5+ years of Product Management experience with a track record of successful product launches Experience leading product strategy and driving significant business outcomes Track record of managing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams Experience setting and tracking key metrics/outcomes for commercial success Strong analytical skills with ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights Technical competencies: adept with tools like Jira and Looker Deep understanding of agile methodologies and product development frameworks Data analysis and usage optimization expertise Prior experience in hair and beauty industry, consumer products, or mobile products Prior supplier/vendor selection and relationship management experience
