Job Description
Stax is delighted to partner with a high-growth AI platform that is redefining how modern teams search, decide, and act in a unified workspace. Analytics is becoming one of the core intelligence layers powering their product — and they’re hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead both the platform and end-user analytics experience.
If you’re passionate about building AI-native analytics at scale, this is a standout opportunity to shape a foundational layer of a next-generation enterprise platform.
Why Analytics Matters
Today’s organisations expect analytics to be:
- Instant — fast answers without switching tools
- Actionable — insights that trigger workflows and decisions
- Conversational — natural language as a primary interface
- Composable — reusable analytics elements powering multiple apps
Analytics transforms the product by enabling:
- Analytics → Insight: turning raw operational and user data into clear, interpretable signals
- Analytics → Workflow: converting insights into routing, assignments, triggers, suggestions, or agent behaviours
- Analytics → Decision: empowering teams to make informed decisions inside a single workspace
As Senior Product Manager for Analytics, you will define how intelligence appears across the product — from dashboards and in-context visualisations to deep explorations and AI-generated insights that guide both users and agents.
Role Overview
This role spans:
- Platform: reusable analytics components, primitives, query surfaces
- Product: the customer-facing analytics experience powering decisions across support, product, engineering, operations, and GTM teams
You will help define what AI-native analytics means for a modern enterprise platform — and deliver the components that shape how companies understand and act on their data.
What You’ll Drive
Analytics Product Strategy & Discovery
- Lead discovery across internal and external analytics workflows
- Identify high-value customer use cases across product, support, engineering, ops, and GTM
- Analyse how users interrogate data today — dashboards, ad hoc queries, exploration, reporting
- Stay ahead of market trends in:
- AI-enabled analytics
- Natural language insights
- Embedded analytics
- Cross-functional operational BI
Insight → Action Workflow Design
- Define how insights flow into recommendations and actions
- Build in-context analytics that surface inside real workflows (support cases, releases, product work, customer records)
- Create templates and opinionated views for common operational questions
Go-to-Market Partnership
- Collaborate with Sales, Solutions, and Success to ensure analytics has commercial impact
- Shape compelling value stories, demos, and customer narratives
- Support PoCs with measurable, outcome-driven success criteria
- Partner on packaging and readiness for major analytics launches
Roadmap Ownership & Technical Depth
- Own the roadmap across both analytics platform and product surfaces
- Prioritise reusable components that unlock leverage across the broader product suite
- Partner with engineering on performance, reliability, discoverability, and buildability
- Define how AI enhances analytics through NL exploration, explanations, and guided analysis
- Ensure analytics is cohesive across apps — a unified layer, not a silo
Metrics & Measurement
Define and own the metrics that matter:
- Quality: accuracy, reliability, freshness
- Product: adoption, usage depth, exploration frequency
- Outcome: time saved, decisions accelerated, operational improvements
- Workflow: insight → action conversion, agent execution triggered by analytics
What Success Looks Like
- Analytics becomes a core layer used across top workflows and personas
- Noticeable uplift in product adoption driven by analytics-led guidance
- Strong customer references tied to analytics outcomes
- A platform foundation that accelerates development for multiple teams
- AI-native analytics capabilities that resonate with customers and analysts
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves
- 5–8+ years of PM experience in SaaS, AI, developer tools, or analytics-heavy products
- Strong experience with analytics, BI, or data-driven workflows
- Proven ability to drive execution across engineering and cross-functional teams
- Excellent customer discovery skills and experience leading PoCs to measurable success
- Clear communicator with exceptional spec writing and roadmap articulation
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with AI-powered analytics (e.g., NL-to-insight, text-to-data)
- Background in operational analytics within support, product, or engineering domains
- Exposure to data/visualisation tooling, query surfaces, or platform components
