Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow / Dundee, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Procurement Specialist for an initial 6 month contract with potential to extend on a rate of £375/day (Inside IR35). This role will be hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week in Glasgow / Dundee.

Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end procurement processes for high-value and/or high-risk contracts. This includes procurement strategy development, tender management, and evaluation to contract award. - Draft all procurement and contract documentation and use relevant tools and systems. - Engage and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority - providing expert commercial advice to internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance, value for money, and risk mitigation. - Manage supplier relationships and contract performance to ensure delivery of agreed outcomes using contract/supplier reviews and appropriate management information to identify risks to delivery, time, cost, and quality. - Promote sustainable procurement practices, including community benefits, fair work, and climate change considerations.
