In this exciting and pivotal role, you will lead and manageend-to-end procurement processes across a wide range of goods and services,supporting both clinical and non clinical teams. Youll ensure compliance with public sectorprocurement regulations, deliver value for money, and support high-qualitypatient care.

Main duties of the job

The ideal candidate will have demonstratable experiencewithin public sector procurement in tendering, facilitating procurementprojects and developing procurement forward plans.

Responsible for the successful procurement of goods andservices engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver excellentpatient care. This will include complexprocurement projects through facilitation of tendering exercises and utilisingframework agreements where appropriate.

The ideal candidate will act as an advocate to driveimprovements in the development and implementation of procurementdocumentation, policies and ways of working to achieve best practice andcompliance.

Mentoring and supporting other members of the procurementteam, to develop their knowledge and skills to progress and improve performancedeveloping and enhancing your management and leadership skills.

Job responsibilities

The role will lead and manage end-to-end procurementprocesses and contract negotiations with tendering requirements across a widerange of goods and services, supporting both clinical and non-clinical teams.

Youll ensure full compliance with public sector procurementregulations and Trust governance to notonly deliver value for money but to support high-quality patient care throughstrategic sourcing.

The role will develop and maintain robust procurement plansaligned with service needs and Trust priorities whilst building strongrelationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive serviceimprovement.
