Senior Procurement Manager – Payment Technology & Transaction Platforms
London | £65,000 - £80,000 + Package
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to take ownership of one of the most technically complex and commercially critical categories within a major UK consumer-facing organisation.
Joining a highly regarded procurement function, the successful candidate will lead sourcing strategy across payment technology and transaction infrastructure, managing a sophisticated supplier ecosystem that supports millions of digital and physical transactions every day.
The role sits at the intersection of technology, financial services and customer experience, covering everything from transaction processing platforms and payment gateways through to device infrastructure and next- payment propositions.
The Opportunity
The Senior Procurement Manager will take full ownership of the category strategy for payment technology solutions across both digital and physical environments. Working closely with senior technology, digital and commercial stakeholders, you will shape sourcing strategy, drive innovation across supplier relationships and ensure the organisation maintains a secure, seamless and competitive payment ecosystem.
You will lead complex commercial negotiations with major payment technology vendors, oversee supplier performance and risk, and play a key role in evaluating new transaction technologies entering the market.
