Senior Procurement Business Partner – Irwell Valley Homes Join to apply for the Senior Procurement Business Partner role at Irwell Valley Homes. This role is based in Manchester, Sale – hybrid. Role Overview As a not-for-profit housing association, Irwell Valley Homes provides affordable homes and services to over 20,000 people across Greater Manchester. We are dedicated to enabling people to live well in their home and community. The Senior Procurement Business Partner will be responsible for delivering category management, ensuring value for money, and supporting local and national procurement strategies. Responsibilities
Provide proactive procurement advice and support to colleagues and contract managers, based on a sound understanding of the business area. Manage tender and evaluation processes, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and internal regulations. Assist in ensuring compliance with financial regulations, procurement and contract management policies and procedures. Play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Procurement Strategy and 3‑year Procurement Plan.
Qualifications & Experience
Clear understanding of procurement legislation, regulations and procedures. Sound knowledge of procurement frameworks. Experience providing expert advice, support and challenge in all aspects of procurement and contract management. Relevant professional qualification such as CIPS. IT and Excel literate. Ability to coordinate workloads under pressure. Strong working relationships across different projects and teams. Experience in public sector procurement, preferably housing, is desired but not essential.
