An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Procurement Business Partner to lead a high-performing procurement partnering function within a large, complex public sector environment. This is a strategic and highly visible leadership role, acting as the senior interface between procurement and key stakeholder organisations, driving best-in-class procurement solutions, collaboration, and measurable value across multiple sites.
You will lead and develop a team of Procurement Business Partners, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery while building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. The role involves overseeing complex, high-value procurement activity, identifying and delivering savings and efficiencies, and promoting the use of compliant routes to market. With a strong on-site presence, you will influence decision-making, support procurement strategies, and champion innovation, sustainability, and social value across the supply chain.
The ideal candidate will bring significant public sector procurement experience, including end-to-end procurement lifecycle management, above-threshold tendering, and contract management. You will have a strong track record of delivering cost savings, managing senior stakeholder relationships, and leading teams in a fast-paced environment. A professional procurement qualification (such as CIPS) or equivalent experience is essential, alongside excellent analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
