We are looking to recruit a Senior Social Worker to join the Through Age Team on a full-time basis. The team is an integrated decision-making hub which aims to support families with information, advice, or intervention. This is an exciting role within the service, providing the opportunity to undertake assessments and implement care packages to support our organisation’s aim to enable children and families to build resilience and access appropriate services following Child and Family Assessments.

The role involves supporting the Team Manager to deliver a whole-family or network approach to assessments and care planning using signs of safety methodology throughout.

You will work within current legislation, statutory guidelines, council policies, procedures, and practices to assess individual care and support needs, safeguard, and ensure the provision and review of support services and planned interventions for those who are at risk or vulnerable.

You will work to ensure the quality of service with colleagues in the statutory and independent sectors to ensure a multi-agency approach, empowering service users to speak for themselves while ensuring their safety and protection.
