Senior Planning Consultant – National Planning Consultancy (Remote / UK-Wide) £55,000 - £65,000 DOE + Bonus Structure Full-Time Permanent Contract

We are working with a nationally recognised planning consultancy to recruit a dynamic and commercially minded Senior Planning Consultant. This is a key position supporting the delivery of high-quality planning services across a broad spectrum of sectors, including residential, commercial, education, healthcare, and employment. This is a client-facing role that will see you managing your own caseload and contributing directly to business growth. The ideal candidate will be an RTPI-accredited professional with extensive experience in either consultancy or local authority, capable of handling complex planning projects from inception to delivery.

Responsibilities Manage your own portfolio of clients, offering high-level planning advice and fostering long-term relationships. Prepare and submit complex planning applications, appeals, and land promotion strategies. Conduct planning appraisals and site assessments to determine development potential. Represent clients at committee meetings, hearings, and public examinations. Develop planning strategies aligned with local and national policy to maximise approval prospects.
