Senior Planner – Major Construction Project\nLocation: Hybrid - the odd bit of travelling but majority would be based at home\nSalary: Up to £70,000 per annum + excellent benefits\n\nAre you an experienced Senior Planner with a strong background in pre-construction and delivering major build projects? If so, we want to hear from you.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join my clients team on a flagship construction project.

You will play a pivotal role in the development, coordination, and management of project schedules across pre-construction and delivery phases. Working closely with project managers, design teams, and commercial leads, you’ll ensure our programme remains robust, efficient, and aligned with strategic project milestones.\n\nThis is a hybrid role, offering flexibility to work from home and attend site or office locations as needed. Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Lead project planning activities across pre-construction and major build phases.\n\n * \n\n Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning software.\n\n * \n\n Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to identify risks, opportunities, and programme improvements.\n\n * \n\n Provide planning insight during design development, procurement, and construction sequencing.\n\n * \n\n Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior stakeholders.\n\n * \n\n Support the project team in achieving on-time, on-budget delivery.\n\nAbout You\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as a Planner/Senior Planner on large-scale construction projects.\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of pre-construction workflows and major build programme requirements.\n\n * \n\n Proficiency in planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject or similar).\n\n * \n\n Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.\n\n * \n\n A proactive mindset with the ability to influence and drive best practice.\n\nWhat We Offer\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary up to £70,000 per annum.\n\n * \n\n A comprehensive benefits package.\n\n * \n\n Flexible hybrid working arrangements.\n\n * \n\n Opportunity to work on a high-profile, career-defining project.\n\n * \n\n Supportive and collaborative team environment.\n\nIf this is something of interest, please apply now and we will be in contact to discuss further
