We are currently searching for a Senior Planner for one of Europe’s fastest growing general contractors in the mission critical and life sciences sectors. They are currently going through a healthy growth phase and with that, are looking to bolster their site team for a brand new data centre project in Munich.
The ideal candidate will be someone that is career ambitious and sees themselves as Planning Lead in the not so distant future. In terms of experience, someone coming from a data centre background is advantageous however candidates from other construction sectors will be considered. Project delivery ability, proven track record, detail driven personality, organisational skills and forward-thinking mindset is crucial.
You will be working for a market leading contractor that operates a diverse business model and demands modern health and safety and employee engagement practises.
Senior Planner Role:
* Involvement with Site Team in all aspects of project planning, programming and progress monitoring, including information flow, procurement, and site works.
* To liaise with the Client, subcontractors, suppliers, and designers on all matters relating to planning and attend and contribute to site meetings and other associated meetings.
* Assist in the management of change in regards to impact on programmes and progress.
* Provide the planning service on tenders and projects
* Attend pre-contract meetings to explain the planning aspects of the contract.
* Monitor and prepare a progress report on the project programme.
* Maintain look ahead programmes and advise on implications to both Client & Project Team.
* Consider and discuss alternatives with the Project Manager.
* Implement Company procedures.
* Appraise, co-ordinate and integrate subcontract and design programmes.
* Maintain the as-built programme
Required:
* 5+ Years Project Planning experience with a Main Contractor
* EU passport/right to work is essential
* Previous Data Centre/Life Sciences/Mission Critical project experience is beneficial
* Strong working knowledge of Primavera 6
* Good communication skills
* Meticulous attention to detail
