Senior Performance Marketing Manager

We are looking for a commercially minded and data-led Senior Performance Marketing Manager to take ownership of our multi-million-pound performance marketing budget and strategy, driving high-quality traffic, optimising return on ad spend (RoAS) and building a sustainable, data-led digital customer acquisition engine. This role is key to delivering growth through effective paid and owned media, while aligning cross-functional efforts across brand, trading and digital. You will be responsible for the strategic direction, daily execution and ongoing performance optimisation of all paid and owned media channels, working cross-functionally to align creative, content and commercial efforts setting the pace for growth. This is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in performance or paid media who is ready to take the next step into a broader, more strategic position, influencing creative and trading decisions and playing a key role in shaping the customer acquisition engine of a fast-growing eCommerce retailer. What You’ll Be Doing Traffic and Trading Strategy
Lead the development and delivery of an integrated, multi-channel digital marketing strategy across PPC, paid social, affiliates, email, and organic channels. Align media activity with seasonal trading plans and promotional calendars, working closely with the Ecommerce, Buying, and Merchandising teams. Develop and launch a brand ambassador and influencer programme to support retention and community growth. Manage trade and marketing planning to ensure campaign priorities are commercially sound and well-resourced.
Performance Optimisation and Insight
Drive performance through analytical rigour and data-led decision making, enhancing efficiency across the marketing funnel. Develop and maintain multi-touch attribution models to accurately assess campaign effectiveness. Own and report on key KPIs: traffic volume, RoAS, COS%, CAC, and LTV. Foster a culture of testing and iteration across paid and owned media. Ensure accurate data tracking and optimisation across product feeds, customer data, and performance platforms.
Leadership and Collaboration
Manage and develop a growing team responsible for email, social and content channels. Own relationships with marketing agencies, ensuring accountability to KPIs and continuous improvement. Collaborate with Ecommerce, Design, Buying, and Merchandising teams to align marketing efforts with broader business priorities. Explore and test new marketing channels and tactics for growth and innovation.
What We’re Looking For
Proven leadership in performance marketing within a high-growth ecommerce or DTC environment. Strong commercial and analytical acumen, with a clear focus on RoAS, COS%, CAC, LTV, and driving bottom-line impact. Experience managing £3m+ annual marketing budgets with full funnel oversight. Solid understanding of CRM, affiliate marketing and performance attribution modelling. Proficiency in tools such as Pmax, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, GA4, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, GMC and attribution platforms. Strategic, collaborative mindset with a test-and-learn approach. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience leading and mentoring a high-performing team across digital and content disciplines.
Hours and Salary
Full-time, office-based role. Mon–Thurs: 8:30am–5:00pm. Friday early finish (4:30pm). Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience.
