Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading financial services organisation for an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join their highly collaborative HR function.\n\nThis is a stand-alone payroll role, reporting directly into the Global Head of HR, where you will take full ownership of payroll operations across the company's European footprint, with a primary focus on the UK and Ireland, alongside a small headcount across wider EMEA regions.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will be the subject-matter expert for all payroll-related activity, ensuring accurate, compliant and timely payroll delivery while acting as the go-to contact for payroll, benefits and pension queries.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nEnd-to-end payroll processing for the UK and Ireland, with oversight of small EMEA payrolls\nOwnership of year-end payroll activities, including P60s and P11Ds\nActing as the main point of contact for payroll, benefits and pension queries\nReconciliation of payroll reports with finance systems\nLiaison with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders across HR and Finance\nEnsuring payroll compliance and continuous process improvement\n\nAbout You\n\nDeep, hands-on knowledge of UK and Irish payroll (essential)\nExposure to wider EMEA payroll is highly advantageous\nStrong experience using Workday HR (essential)\nPrevious experience within financial services is desirable\nComfortable operating autonomously in a stand-alone role\nA proactive, "go-getter" mindset with excellent communication skills\nHighly collaborative and confident working with senior stakeholders\n\nWhat's On Offer\n\nCompetitive salary of £70,000 - £80,000\nDiscretionary bonus\nFree breakfast and lunch\nProfessional development and training opportunities\nA supportive, inclusive and high-performing cultureIf you're a payroll expert looking for ownership, visibility and the chance to make a real impact within a forward-thinking financial services environment, this is an excellent opportunity.\n\n50854RM\n\nINDPAY
