This is a brand-new position for a tenacious revenue generating professional to become the charity’s first Head of Business Development within 12 months.
Start date: April/May/June 2026
Reporting to: Director of Development
Contract & hours: Permanent. Full-time or part-time (min 4 days pw)
Direct Reports: None
Hybrid: 1-2 days pw in East London
A London-based social mobility charity is excited to create an emerging role to join their growing business development and partnership’s function.
Do you have proven experience of generating 5-6 figure sums through meaningful partnerships?
You will be tasked with:
- Identifying new business development opportunities
- Developing and building a robust pipeline of new prospect
- Securing multi-year agreements with corporates across the Corporate and Trust and Foundations sector
- Work with the SLT to develop and implement their longer-term income generation strategy
The Senior Partnerships & Business Development Lead will have:
- Successfully of identified, secured, and developed multiple long-term corporate partnerships at five figures or above.
- Experience in planning and managing corporate fundraising programmes
- An understanding of corporate CSR programmes
- A background of working across the education, employability and/or the charity sector
